Howdy to the few that watch me. I am still around enjoying your photos, and still taking some of my own. I recently got some new toys for my camera, so that is an excuse to shoot more. I now have 2 speedlites, and a Gary Fong Lightsphere, snoot, etc. It is also coming up on spring when the storms will be rolling in, and I definitely will be getting storm, lightning, and possibly severe weather photos. I hope everyone is doing well, and feel free to drop any comments or notes. It's always good to hear from old DA friends.

Well, I bought a new camera the other day . It's nothing super special, but it's a dslr, and that makes it easier for me to share work with the community. Tonight is a rough night for me, and I'm sharing more than I usually do. I hope it's something that ya'll enjoy, or that at least inspires you to spend more time with people you love, or to dig deep. There will be more lightning, firearms, and portrait photography to come. I've missed ya'll. I hope that there's some people still watching. I'm still watching all of you, and enjoying your artwork. I'll get around to commenting again soon. Take care, and I hope to hear more from you.

Howdy fellow deviants,

I took a break from DA for quite a while, I was busy and a little bit uninspired. I never stopped looking at my watches though, I always look at the photos even if I haven't commented. Sorry that I haven't commented, the photos have been amazing. I recently finished a new rifle by the name of Emily, she's beautiful and a work of art. I decided I needed to take some photos with her, and my buddy Mardie was willing to help. While he and I don't agree always on ideologies, or politics, he's a great artist and was willing to help me with my expression and having fun. Thank you Mardie, you did a fine job in taking the photos and photoshopping them. Some of these photos will be controversial, and that's ok, I hope that you can at least appreciate them for at least their visual or ideological standpoint. I challenge all of you to consider what American soldiers go through in other countries, and how difficult some of their jobs are. I hope that you appreciate the beauty of the equipment, even though it's sometimes used for not so beautiful things. Above all else, I hope that these photos challenge you or make you feel something. If they make you feel something good or bad, I hope that you share that with us, and I hope that we can keep it civil. Enjoy.

So I had to put up a new journal because my birthday one had been sitting up too long, lol. For all of you that wished me a happy birthday, and Melissa who sent me a special birthday picture, I really appreciate all the wishes and presents. I'm gonna submit a new photo of something that most of you don't get to see just so I have something new. I've taken some new photos, but haven't gotten them all scanned yet, so that will be appearing in the near future. Hope everyone is doing well.

So tonight at midnight, I turn 24. I feel like I'm turning into an old man, lol, naw I'm just kidding. My birthday is on march 31st, which is tomorrow for those who want me to be specific. I'm having a party tonight with lots of friends and it should be a blast. Please feel free to leave me some birthday love here or on aim. I think there's one person who is gonna post up a photo for my birthday. If others are so inclined to do so, please do. Hope everyone is doing well and I'm doing great.
